As technology continues to transform our world, Florida’s K-12 students deserve cutting-edge opportunities that prepare them for tomorrow’s workforce. The Florida K-12 AI Education Task Force—comprising school districts, public, private, and charter schools, community colleges, EdTech companies, industry leaders (e.g., Google, Lenovo, Vex Robotics, Microsoft), parent groups, and teachers—is committed to empowering educators, students, families, and administrators by harnessing the transformative potential of AI in K-12 classrooms, prioritizing safety, privacy, access, and fairness.

Classroom of the Future

A key initiative of the Task Force is the creation of a “Classroom of the Future,” a collaborative model that will:

  • Showcase Emerging Technologies: Experience AI-driven educational tools and personalized learning platforms that enhance engagement.
  • Gather Feedback from Stakeholders: Invite educators, parents, students, and industry partners to help us improve our educational landscape.
  • Promote Instructional Best Practices: Demonstrate how AI can be safely, responsibly, and effectively implemented in diverse school settings.
